Welcome to the webpage of the 2020 AFED Conference !
The 5th conference of the French Association of Law & Economics will be held online on October 15-16, 2020.
The purpose of AFED is to provide a discussion forum for all researchers interested in this interdisciplinary approach. The Conference accepts original works in both disciplines, law and economics, on various topics including (not limited) : Asylum Law – Behavioural Law and Economics – Competition Law and Policy – Contract Theory and Contractual Regulation – Crime and Public Law Enforcement – Corporate Law and Governance – Environmental Law – Intellectual Property Law and Innovation Policy – Law and Finance – Law and Public Policy – Legal Rule-Making – Litigation and Disputes Resolution – Tort Law and Liability Rules – Predictive Justice.
The best two papers will be selected and published in a special issue of the European Journal of Law and Economics dedicated to « National Associations » in 2021.
The association will hold a General Assembly and an Extraordinary General Assembly during the conference (on Thursday Oct. 15, 11h30 - 13h). Only the AFED members that are up to date with their membership fees will be invited to vote. To subscribe for AFED membership, please visit Hello Asso.

Full papers (French or English) as well as long abstracts (at least 2 pages) must be submitted here, before August 17, 2020August 31, 2020.
Decisions :
The selection of papers will be notified around September 7, 2020
